Organic, Homely Food
We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments according to your choice. Our menu mainly consists of traditional Kerala-style dishes made with organic products sourced from our own farm. This is also your opportunity to relish the local cuisine, including tapioca (cassava), yam, sweet potato, taro, jackfruit dishes, freshwater fish, etc., all served based on availability. We will also provide fresh fruit and vegetable juices, as well as local snacks, on demand.
Natural Pools and Waterfalls (seasonal)
The streams all around Palkulam Heights form beautiful natural pools and waterfalls that you can spend time in. The water is fresh and flows directly from its source in the mountains. However, since these are natural they usually occur from June to December, depending on the rains.
Travel Assistance
We will provide assistance for your travel in the vicinity during your stay. Please let us know about your travel assistance requirements beforehand. While parking facilities will be provided for those who wish to travel in their own vehicles, we are also happy to provide travel assistance from the closest railway station and airport.

For those staying in tents, tree houses,s and dormitories, safe deposit boxes will be made available to keep your valuables including laptops.

ACTIVITIES
Sightseeing
There are several places around Palkulam medu that will complete your experience of visiting Idukki. We will arrange a jeep safari to these places if requested and depending on the number of guests. The must-visit sights around include Idukki dam which is Asia’s biggest arch dam, Hill view park, boating, Punnayar waterfalls, Kalvari mount ecotourism and so on.
Farm Tour
Our farm tour will take you through 8 acres of farm land cultivated in the most traditional and sustainable ways. Here you can stay and learn about agriculture from farmers with more than 70 years of experience. You can go for a stroll among cocoa and nutmeg trees, various fruit trees, vegetables, spices like pepper and cardamom, cassava fields, fish ponds and much more.
Palkulam medu trekking
Palkulam medu is a peak situated more than 3000 ft above sea level and overlooks the entire range of Western Ghats covering Idukki district. Reaching the peak requires an off-road Jeep Safari as well as a steep climb through lush tropical forest and is sure to cater to the adventure seeker in you. If you are lucky enough you can spot wild animals and exotic flora including medicinal herbs. The trek will be guided by people with a deep understanding of the region.
Fishing
Guests can indulge in fishing from our own fresh water fish ponds. All fishing equipments will be provided along with amenities to cook and relish your catch of the day.

Our farm has many spots where you will just want to sit on the grass, munch on snacks and talk away. This can be by a stream, on the slope of a hill, on the rocks, under the shade of a tree; you pick the spot and enjoy.
